MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream is influenced by his global reach. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin in 2017, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007, saw him join Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was young, he taught how to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. Despite initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his career.
