Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress who is best recognized for her performances in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school when her parents split up to move to Los Angeles to live with her mother. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was acting as Rachel's Room's primary character. The role she played in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) along with her. She also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
