Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia Rosaly, is an Spanish Flamenco music singer. When she was a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. Her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Her voice has been called by no less of an artist than the flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp and with a bite that is similar to the old ones. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving an Grammy. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The show premiered in March 2022. was launched following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the program. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home an award for the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first female to win one.
